Norwegian Widereo Airlines selects e-cargoware's cloud-based cargo platform

Norwegian regional airline Widereo has appointed software company e-cargoware to digitally handle cargo operations covering 42 domestic and 9 international destinations. The e-cargoware platform will launch in the first quarter of 2020.

"This will allow agents and freight forwarders to access air routes at transparent prices and track air freight in real time," London Air Cargo News quoted Thomas Long as freight manager.

He continued: "After looking for a user-friendly modern freight system on the market, I am very happy to choose e-cargoware's cloud-based platform.

"Their solution is easy to implement and is API-based [application programming interface], which is a key requirement for our integration with stakeholders and internal IT systems."
