Published by February 18,2020

The shadow of the new coronavirus continues to haunt the cruise industry. As more and more Asian ports take restrictions on cruise ships, Royal Caribbean Cruises has to cancel 18 cruise voyages in Southeast Asia, and full-year results are expected to be hit by the outbreak. Royal Caribbean Cruises announced that the cancellation of 18 cruise voyages in Southeast Asia will reduce its annual earnings per share by $ 0.65. The cancellation of these voyages is due to travel restrictions and related conditions in various countries.

In addition, the company also predicted: "Although there are no plans at this time, if the company has to cancel all Asian flights until the end of April, the full-year earnings per share for 2020 will be reduced by another 0.55 US dollars."
