Hapag-Lloyd and HHLA expand cooperation in hinterland, pollution

German shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg's top terminal operator Hamburg Port and Logistics will continue to work closely in Hamburg for another five years.

 

The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in expanding inland connections and reducing emissions from the Port of Hamburg.

 

 

HHLA CEO Angela Titzrath and Hapag said: "We are pleased to continue our long-term, trusted and close cooperation. As a result, the Port of Hamburg will continue to be and will continue to have an important maritime hub for global logistics." German CEO Rolf Habben Jansen in a joint statement.
