1. Who should send the AMS information?
According to US Customs regulations, freight forwarders closest to the direct exporter are required to send AMS information. However, the domestic situation is that most freight forwarders are handed over to shipping companies or booking agents for delivery. During the delivery process, due to inaccurate customs regulations, service attitude, conflict of interest, and inattention to AMS, various factors may cause Delays in customs clearance were even fined.

2. How many days should AMS information be sent?
Some people call AMS also a 24-hour manifest forecast. As the name implies, it is necessary to send the manifest 24 hours in advance, but the shipping company or the freight forwarder issued by the peer will be very early (shipping companies generally cut off customs three or four days in advance) and require AMS. The information is submitted, and the information given by the exporter three or four days in advance is likely to be incorrect. Once the customs clearance is completed, the shipping company is required to change the AMS, which will charge USD40.
In addition, 24 hours in advance is not based on the sailing time. It should be required to get a US Customs receipt 24 hours before the box is loaded (forwarding is OK / 1Y, shipping company or dock is 69). There is no stipulation on how long to send in advance. No matter how early you send it, it is useless not to get the correct receipt.
