OOCL reopens some Mainland offices

Published by February 19,2020

OOCL announced that all offices except some mainland offices were closed due to coronavirus outbreaks.

With the exception of the following Continental offices, all offices have reopened. The Chongqing office will still be closed and will reopen on Monday; Ningbo, which applied for reopening, has not yet confirmed the opening of Wuhan office; Yiwu has applied for reopening, Shenzhen has applied for reopening, and Zhongshan has also applied for reopening.

OOCL is now a subsidiary of COSCO Group. The company said that due to the huge demand for onshore reefer plugs, the challenges of unloading and loading reefer goods at Shanghai, Tianjin and Ningbo terminals still exist.

This may lead to the relocation or relocation of refrigerated containers for unloading at other ports, and we are currently working closely with shippers to develop emergency plans and feasible plans to meet their requirements.

OOCL also advises customers to collect refrigerated cargo as early as possible and provide a recycling program to minimize potential impacts.
